Quilting your Legacy Monthly Challenge is Autumn in New England Colorway Projects!
🍂We're in the best month for Autumn, which is in October.
It's magical seeing the leaves turn from green into orange, red, purple, brown, and beyond. Although the leaves are barely starting to turn colors, let's celebrate the change in season by honoring fall in its true colors.
Autumn colors include; yellow, red, orange, purple, brown, dark forest green, and all the colors in between. 🌻❣️🧡☂️🦃🌲
This month I'm going to challenge you to make Autumn in New England color projects for yourself and your favorite people around you.
👉🔻Who could you make a hostess gift (table topper, hot pads, or cotton napkins) for and give to them before Thanksgiving?
**Quilting your Legacy Crazy idea! In my living room, on a chair, I have a quilt hanging on the back of it. It's not a favorite of mine, and I asked the boys if they would like it, and they looked at me as if I had three heads and said "no," and I'm not in love with the quilt, so I made a deal with them. So the first person that says, "wow, this quilt has fun colors or that is a beautiful quilt," then, BOOM, it's going home with them.
It doesn't matter who says it. The quilt is going home with that person. Just a fun, silly idea to do while family and friends are getting ready to come and go throughout the upcoming winter holidays.**
🌟🌻🌲Autumn Projects could include table toppers, hot pads, placemats, couch quilts, bed-size quilts, and much more!
🙋♀️What could you make for a loved one to enjoy on Thanksgiving? But, of course, Thanksgiving colors are autumn colors too.
🥮When reflecting on Thanksgiving, what could you gift as a hostess gift in autumn colors? If Thanksgiving is held at your house, what table runner pattern could you use to highlight your tablescape?
Stitching someone a homemade present represents dedication. It also means love because you're taking time out of your busy day to spend on a project.
Quilting your Legacy means you're leaving lasting sewn projects with loving your favorite people.
Autumn in New England Colorway Projects in October - Quilting your Legacy Monthly Challenge
You must show your progress. Start with taking a photo of the fabric/ pattern with what you're going to create. (It's the best part! I love seeing what you're working on, and as a commity, it's fun to champion people along the sewing process.)
1/2 points if you've started a project and are inspired or re-motivated to finish. But again, we must see where you're now, then at the end of the month, the second photo of your finished project.
Let's see the progress! Start, middle, and end of the project.
Day 1-10 Declare of the Facebook Group, "I'm In," if you're participating in the month's challenge.
Day 2-30 Take a photo or write text with your tentative idea (or ideas) of what you're going to create.
Day 31 (or sooner) - Show off what you created within the guidelines by posting a photo.
The process is everything this month. So let's see and be a part of your quilting adventure!
Happy Quilting your Legacy! 🌻❣️🧡☂️🦃🌲
Go to Facebook and state, "I'm in!". Perhaps add a photo of the pattern, fabrics are chosen, or text is fine too.
What will you create for one or more of your favorite people?
