The new Villa Rosa Patterns arrived! 

🗣Let’s talk about them! 

💕There are six new patterns - 6 Quilts and 1 Table Topper. 

 

📣If you have scrap fabrics you aren’t sure what to make with, then I have a few patterns that are PERFECT to make quilts.

📣Do you have a panel you aren’t sure what to make with? I’ve got an incredible quilt idea to show you. 

📣Last but not least, a basket full of love Table Toppers. Yes, they use autumn fabrics, but in February, Quilting your Legacy Table Topper Club, we’re going to make baskets full of LOVE using materials with gnome hearts and Mickey and Minnie mouse lovely fabric!

 

🙋‍♀️Also, between us, I have some fabric in mind for all the patterns, so if you don’t have the fabric in mind, fear not - I’ve got your back because matching fabrics is one of my super patterns. Or the superpower is growing up a quilt shop since cloth diapers… hmm…

Quilting your Legacy Starts Now:

Choose your fabric panel (24” x 42” approximately) 

 

Keep in mind that you might want the contrasting fabric colors of light and dark paired together for the strips.

 

To make this Quilt, you’ll need the following: 

• 1 panel - (24” x 43” approxmently)
• Border - 3/8-yard 
• Background - 1 1/2”-yards
• Row 1 - 1/8-yard
• Row 2 - 1/4-yard 
• Row 3 - 1/2-yard
• Row 4 - 1/4-yard
• Binding - 5/8-yard

 

✂️How to Cut: 

• One 1-panel with four dark to light colors accents the panel with a back color to make the center fabrics pop.

 

Quilting your Legacy Notes:

 

Brilliant pattern to use a panel, plus the strips around the panel will sew up quickly and easily once everything is cut out. 

 

 

2nd Biscotti - Quilt Pattern - 48” x 64”

All you need is 10-Fat Quarters! I love these quilts because they’re fast to whip up and a no-brainer quilt. Sometimes we need a rewarding quilt to enjoy the process of quilting without too much strenuous thinking. 

 

To make this Quilt, you’ll need the following: 

• 10 Fat Quarters
• 1/2-yard binding 

 

✂️How to Cut:

• You’re cutting the Fat Quarters into two - 8 1/2” strips and then cutting those strips one more time to make rectangles. 

 

Quilting your Legacy Notes: 

Brilliant couch quilt size! And a great way to highlight your favorite fabrics or one of your favorite people’s favorite seasons, animals, or themed fabrics. Check out the 12-Fat Quarter Bundles Collection. 

 

  

3rd San Julian - Quilt Pattern - 54” x 72”

Quilting your Legacy Starts Now!

Here’s a fun and playful quilt using 12 Fat Quarters. This will be a fantastic quilt highlighting one of the 12-Fat Quarter Bundle Collection. And you’ll need 1 yard for the contrasting/background fabric strips. 

 

To make this Quilt, you’ll need the following:

• 12-Fat Quarters
• 1-yard Contrast/Background
• 1-5/8yard for the binding

 

✂️How to Cut:

Each of the 12 different Fat Quarters fabrics will need to be cut to the same dimension, and the contacting fabric strips will need to be cut into 3” strips. 

 

Quilting your Legacy Notes:

 

Again, all you need is 12 different Fat Quarters, and the 12-Fat Quarter Bundles Collection on the website would be perfect if you aren’t sure which Fat Quarters to use.

 

And again, you’ll need 1 yard for the contracting background. Whether it’s dark, light solid, or tonal, there isn’t a wrong choice. 

 

You make the same block repeatedly and flip it around to create the quilt layout. 

 

 

4th Staccato - Quilt Pattern - 63” x 75”

Choose any 9 Fat Quarters. This quilt is a great way to highlight your favorite fabrics! Or, thinking of one of your favorite people, who could you make a quilt for using fabrics of their favorite colors, season, or even beautiful fabrics that remind you of them.

 

To make this Quilt, you’ll need the following:

• 12 Fat Quarters
• 2-yard Background fabric 
• 3/4-yard binding

 

✂️How to Cut:

You’ll first cut the 9 Fat Quarters and cut Fat Quarters parallel to the selvage. 

  

Quilting your Legacy Notes: 

All you need is 9 Fat Quarters in total and one tonal fabric to highlight the prints. 

 

You’re making long strips, so you could easily make this quilt larger. 

 

 

5th Take 5 - Quilt Pattern - 50” x 50”

One word, Bali watercolor fabrics! Well, okay, that’s three words.  

 

To make this Quilt, you’ll need the following:

• 40 - 2 1/2” strips with values from light to dark
• 1/2-yard for binding

 

✂️How to Cut:

You will pair the strips with the color value from light to dark. Sew the long strips together, cut and then cut them out to create strong quilting quilt blocks. 

 

Quilting your Legacy Notes: 

You could make it using tans with dark browns, light blues with navy color blues. The sky is the limit with this amazing quilt.

 

 

Last but not least,

Baskets - Table Topper - 17” x 53”

Oh my! Seriously, I LOVE THIS TABLE TOPPER! It’s four large baskets blocks. I LOVE the idea of using Valentine’s Day theme fabrics full of love. 

 

To make this Quilt, you’ll need the following:

 

• 4 Fat Quarter to make each of the baskets
• 1/2-yard for the Background
• 3/8-yard border
• 1/3-yard Binding

 

✂️How to Cut:

You’ll need to cut the four Fat Quarters with the same demotions to make the baskets.

 

Quilting your Legacy Notes:

This will be a perfect Autumn in New England Table Topper for any occasion! Or baskets full of fabric hearts.
