1st Pumpkin Hollow - Table Topper - 16" x 50"

⒈ Quilting your Legacy Starts Now:

First, choose your arrangement of orange hues for the different pumpkins, then I love the pattern and how they went with a cream color background. Also, you'll need a piece of green scrap fabric for the pumpkin stems.

⒉ To make this Quilt, you'll need the following:

  • 2 Fat Quarters for the Large Pumpkins
  • 3 Fat Eighths for Small Pumpkins
  • 4" x 12" Scrap Green for Stem
  • 5/8-yard for the Background
  • 1/3-yard Binding

⒊ How to Cut:

  • You'll first cut the 2 Fat Quarters into large rectangles and then into 2 1/2" strips
  • Then, other orange hue fabrics are into 2 1/2" strips
  • Next, cut the green into two different size stems
  • Finally, cut the background into 2 1/2" strips and squares to make Flip Stitches

⒋ Quilting your Legacy Notes:

Quick and easy! Pumpkin Table Topper for you to ensure on Thanksgiving or make for one of your favorite people. You could easily make the Table Topper longer or turn a few extra pumpkin blocks into placemats. Let's make this together and give a gift to someone you love on Thanksgiving.

2nd Goody Goody Gumdrops - Table Topper - 14" x 35"

Quilting your Legacy Starts Now:

All you need is 5" Charm Pack Squares.

To make this Quilt, you'll need the following:

* 40 - 5" Squares

  • 1/4-yard Binding

⒊ How to Cut:

  • Taking the 5" Squares, randomly select 13 - 5" Squares to place into 3 different plies
  • Next, you'll cut the 3-different piles differently to create the Gumdrop block

⒋ Quilting your Legacy Notes:

Brilliant Table Topper size messaging at 14" x 35"! However, if it's too tiny, add more 5" Squares. After you cut the 5" Square, the Gumdrops will go together quickly.

Table Topper would be fun to use remaining quilt fabric scraps as a bonus gift for someone special.

3rd Chutes & Ladders - Quilt Pattern - 50” x 70”

⒈ Quilting your Legacy Starts Now!

Here's a fun and playful Quilt only using 2 1/2" strips (plus there's an optional border)

⒉ To make this Quilt, you'll need the following:

  • Pack of 40 - 2 1/2"- strips
  • 1 3/8-yard for background (for optional 2 1/2 border to frame the Quilt add 5/8-yard cut)
  • 5/8-yard for binding
  •

⒊ How to Cut:

The Quilt is entirely made from 2 1/2"- strips.

You'll cut half of the strips a few different ways, then take the other half of the pile and cut the strips into different cuts. Then the background will be cut into three cuts. Plus, there is an optional border using the background fabric to really frame out the Quilt.

⒋ Quilting your Legacy Notes:

You can't go wrong with choosing fabric colors for this Quilt. You could use Bali fabrics, autumn seasonal fabrics, or even a 40 - 2 1/2"-strips Jelly Roll pack lying around your sewing room just wanting to be sewn.

4th Planters - Quilt Pattern - 60" x 72"

⒈ Quilting your Legacy Starts Now!

Again, just like the last pattern, you'll need 2 1/2" strips but only 30 - 2 1/2"-strips, and for the background fabric, you'll need 2-yards cut into 3 1/2"- strips.

⒉ To make this Quilt, you'll need the following:

  • 12 Fat Quarters
  • 1/2-yard binding

⒊ How to Cut:

Take each of the 2 1/2"-strips and you'll cut them two different ways.

Then, the background will be cut into 20 - 3 1/2" strips.

⒋ Quilting your Legacy Notes:

The Quilt would be a remarkable quilt for Quilts of Valor in Red, White, and Blue, or I really love the neutral colors they used in the pattern.

 5th Florence - Quilt Pattern - 60" x 80"

⒈ Quilting your Legacy Starts Now!

Choose any 12 Fat Quarters. This Quilt is a great way to highlight your favorite fabrics! Or, thinking of one of your favorite people, who could you make a quilt for using fabrics of their favorite colors, season, or even beautiful fabrics that remind you of them.

⒉ To make this Quilt, you'll need the following:

  • 12 Fat Quarters
  • 2-yard Background
  • 3/4-yard binding

⒊ How to Cut:

You'll first take 8 Fat Quarters and cut them into one strip, then turn that one strip into two rectangles. Then, take 4 Fat Quarters and cut them into two strips and mini rectangles. And finally, cut the background into 1 1/2"-strips and then the remaining into 2 1/2"-strips.

Quilting your Legacy Notes:

All you need is 12 Fat Quarters plus a neutral background color.

Again, this Quilt is a great way to highlight your favorite fabrics!

6th Wraps - Quilt Pattern - 60" x 72"

Quilting your Legacy Starts Now!

Highlight your favorite fabrics! You can't go wrong with this quilt pattern.

To make this Quilt, you'll need the following:

  • 9 - Fat Quarters or 9 1/3-yard cuts
  • 3/4-yard or 5 - 6" Strips for the Corners Squares (which will be cut into 5" Squares)
  • 1 1/3-yard for Border
  • 5/8-yard for binding

How to Cut:

*DON'T CHOOSE DIRECTIONAL FABRICS* (because of the way you'll need to cut the Fat Quarters)

  • You will cut all of the fabrics into strips, then into rectangles.
  • Corners Squares will be 36 - 5" Squares
  • You'll make the Flip Stitch on the left-hand side, called the "Corners Squares."

Quilting your Legacy Notes:

Again, this could be a great quilt for someone who enjoys earth-tone colors. Red, White, and Blue themed fabrics. Or again, while or after you've gone on a Shop Hop this would be amazing to use Fat Quarters you'll collect from the trip. And again, the Corner Squares are 36 - 5" Squares, so if you have a tonal charm pack, here's what you could use with them.

7th Estrella - Wall Hanging or Baby Quilt - 52" x 52"

This Quilt is gorgeous! I love the bright color with a black background to pop the bright color fabric. This would be brilliant with Bali fabrics.

Please don't panic, fellow Quilting your Legacy Monthly Challenge Legacy Besties *I've got your back.
