Did you hear about the 1st EVER Quilt Expo in Brattleboro, VT?

Norton House Quilting will be attending the show demoing quilting for inspiration and motivation. I (Emily) am going selling Fat Quarters, Quilting Kits, Hand Embroidery Kits and more while Beckie holds down the fort at the Norton House. 

This is my first time ever doing being a vendor at a show besides at our Quilt & Craft Show in October in Wilmington, VT.

Special Film Screening:

The Quilts of Gee’s Bend

2002 Documentary short film – presented by Film Director Vanessa Vadim. 

This event will be at 5pm Fri. Nov. 30 at the Latchis Theatre

Set in the quilt-makers’ homes and yards, and told through the women’s voices, this music-filled, 28-minute film takes viewers inside the art and fascinating living history of this uniquely American community and art form. The award-winning filmmaker will be on hand to discuss Gee’s Bend history, the quilt-making process, and the making of the documentary.
