Quilting your Legacy Monthly Challenge is Autumn in August Projects!

Naturally, we have a few months before the leaves begin to change colors, but let's be ready and celebrate fall in its true fall colors. Autumn colors include; orange, red, purple, brown, and beyond.

Autumn Projects can include Halloween themed quilts, Halloween Candy totes, table toppers, and so much more!

Here are my projects ideas:

• Halloween Trick or Treating Candy Bag
• Quilt top using only black and white fabrics (using the pattern from Running Doe Quilts, "Waverly" - I'm sure I'll have photos soon.)
• Wall hanging Halloween Owl
• Table topper with Autumn colors

What could you make for a loved one to enjoy on Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving colors are autumn colors too.

When reflecting on Thanksgiving, what could you gift as a hostess gift in autumn colors? If Thanksgiving is held at your house, what table runner pattern could you use to highlight your tablescape?

Stitching someone a homemade present represents dedication. It also represents love because you're taking time out of your busy day to spend time on a project.

Quilting your Legacy means you're leaving a lasting sewn projects with loving your favorite people.

The fine print:

Autumn Projects in August - Quilting your Legacy Monthly Challenge

You must show your progress. Start with taking a photo of the fabric/ pattern with what you're going to create.

1/2 points if you've started a project and are inspired or re-motivated to finish. But again, we must see where you're at this moment, then at the end of the month the second photo of your finished project.

Let's see the progress! Start, middle, and end of the project.

What to do next:

Day 1-10 Declare of the Facebook Group, "I'm In" if you're going to participate months challenge.

Day 2-30 Take a photo or write text with your tentative idea (or ideas) of what you're going to create.

Day 31 (or sooner) - Show off what you created within the guidelines by posting a photo.

The process is everything this month. Let's see and be apart of your quilting adventure!

Happy Quilting your Legacy!

What do to next:
Go to Facebook and state, "I'm in!". Perhaps add a photo of the pattern, fabrics are chosen, or just text is fine too.
