Cheers to Quilting your Legacy™!

Our Story

Hi! I’m Emily, the owner of Norton House Quilting and founder of Quilting your Legacy™. My Grandmother, Sue Wurzberger, started the retail store in 1966, and with her passing, I am honored to continue her legacy and continue to share our passion for quilting, fabrics, and creating as a community.

I’m excited that you’re here, and hope that we can help you ignite your passion and find a community of quilters to support you along your Quilting your Legacy adventure.

The retail store is closed.  Thank you for 55 wonderful years!!

Norton House Quilting

You can visit the building (however it's no longer a fabric store)

Our charming New England house, circa 1760, is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. It is the oldest building in town and one of the oldest buildings in Vermont! The Norton House is part of an old-fashioned shopping village located on Route 9 in Southern Vermont, halfway between Brattleboro and Bennington. We are 18 miles from Interstate 91, Exit 2, in Brattleboro. Wilmington is 19 miles East of Bennington on Route 9.
