A few days ago I had a young man (probably in middle school) in the Norton House pleading with his mom to buy him a sewing machine. She said, 'no, because he could use his Grandma's sewing machine' and then he replied, 'I can't her machine is broken'. Then knowing the young man lost the battle in the moment I noticed he went off to pick out fabrics. I had to bite my tongue to not say to the family, 'HERE take this sewing machine to inspire you to create and make whatever it is that you want to create young man.' However, I know I can't give everyone a sewing machine, not to mention, hearing that type of convo wasn't the first time.

BUT, after they left a thought hit me like a ton of bricks that I COULD give someone a sewing machine.

Everyone deserves to sew who wants to sew and create, make, and quilt. It's important to have a creative outlet to express ones-self.

You could win the Juki sew machine basic model for yourself or a loved one who is starting out in the creating and making world. See below for complete details.

• The sewing machine drawing will take place at the Quilt and Craft Show in Wilmington, VT at noon on Saturday, October 13th, 2018
• Drawing starts now until Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at promptly, 11:50 am
• When you mail your check or cash with your first and last name along with, your address and email address you will then be immediately be entered into the drawing
• No other purchase is necessary
• If your name is drawn from the raffle, you can take home your sewing machine at the Quilt and Craft Show on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 or pick it up at Norton House Quilting when the shop is open between 9am-5pm daily.
