If you weren’t able to join us at the last 1st Saturday Club meeting, that’s okay because below you’ll find the talking points is a list of what I spoke about during our 1st Saturday Club meeting.

1st Saturday Club is held at Norton House Quilting every first Saturday of the month from 10 am to 11 am.

We review the newest fabric's to arrive, notions, and patterns — also, a variety of unique items, both quilting and non-quilting gift items.

At every meeting, there is a show-n-tell where club members show off what they've been working on during the past month and when they do, they receive a $5.00 Norton House Quilting Bucks. (Up to three during each club meeting for three different projects.) What more details on the club? See page by clicking here.

Here's the recap of what I (Emily) talked about 2/1/2020

I was honored to do a presentation at the Twin State Modern Quilt Guild in Westminster, VT, last Sunday.
◦ The presentation was on "Quilting your Legacy."
◦ I talked about the importance of being intentional about Sewing and inspiring but also teaching the people around them.
◦ I showed my the first quilt I ever made with my grandma, which was horrifying
◦ I forgot to say this during the presentation, click here to read it.

Vermont Shop Hop Panel for 2020
I was honored to help put together the exclusive VT Shop Hop Panel with Dee Lamberton from A Quilter's Garden in Montpelier, VT. The photographer behind every bird or butterfly is Nicki Steel from Wilmington, VT. Learn more about the event by clicking here.

We're now selling them in-store at $11.50 each and online too!

Shop hop passports are now on sale too!

When you purchase a passport, you'll receive any 1/2 yard of fabric, your choice for free!

Plus, there are coupons on in the passport that extend pass the shop hop dates, so if you can't make it to the shop hop during the ten days, no worries use some of the shop's coupons at other times that are more convenient to you.

The elephant in the room...
Attic sale fabric is now downstairs in Mildred Norton's kitchen. When we had the 1st Saturday Club, we're immersed and surrounded in fabric. Currently, the entire Attic Sale Fabric is downstairs in Mildred Norton's 1760 kitchen. Perhaps it won't stay like that forever, but for now, let's make the best of it.

DIE-CUT Vermont Autumn Leaves are BACK!!! Yes!
(Picture will be on Facebook and Instagram soon!)

On each leaf, there's the fusible backing to peel the paper off, stick to where you want it to stay, and then iron on to ensure permit placement. Each leaf is a Bali watercolor fabric.

New whimsical animal nature cards from Woodfield Press in Alstead, NH.

They're each $3.50 and online too. SEE THEM ALL by clicking here.
